Subject: 14^th North East Zonal Sports Climbing Competition - at the Kangla Sport Climbing Wall of Manipur Mountaineering & Trekking Association, Imphal, from 21^st to 23^rd October 2012.

Dear Sir,

The North East Zonal Sport Climbing Committee is going to conduct the 13^th North East Zonal Sports Climbing Competition-2012 at the Kangla Sport Climbing Wall of Manipur Mountaineering & Trekking Association, Imphal, from 21^st to 23^rd October 2012.

            The said competition will be conducted for LEAD, SPEED & BOULDERING Climbing as per Rules of International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) in the following categories:

1.      Sub-Junior (Boys & Girls)      - Under 13 yrs of age (Born in the year 2000, and after)

2.      Junior (Boys & Girls)              - Under 16 yrs of age (Born in the year 1996, and after)

3.      Open (Men & Women)           - Open age above 16 yrs of age

(There will be no Speed & Bouldering climbing for Sub-Junior category)

            The selected climbers of all categories from this competition will represent North East Zone in the forthcoming 18^th National Sport Climbing Championship in New Delhi from 18 to 21 November 2012.

Participation: Participation fee is Rs.100/- per participant. Two recent passport photographs should be attached for all categories. Age proof certificate must be enclosed for Junior & Sub-Junior categories. Journey fare should bear from your end. 18 climbers from one State (3 climbers for each category) can participate in this competition.

Equipments: Climbers have to bring their own climbing shoes & chalk bag. The other necessary equipments will be provided by the organiser.

Certificates:   The Certificates will be given to all participants.

Accommodation: Fooding & Lodging will be provided by the organiser.

Reporting:      The date & time of the reporting is on 20^th October 2012 at 3 pm, at the office of the Manipur Mountaineering & Trekking Association, Minuthong West, Imphal, Manipur.

In this connection, I am requesting you to kindly send your climbers to participate in this competition.

World Environment Day

WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY WITH SHRI LOKESWARA RAO ADDL.PCCF

NAAME organised World Environment Day 2012 at Kisama with the rest of the world on 5th june 2012. Shri Lokeswara Rao Addl. Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, Nagaland Grace the occassion . The Programme includ Plantation on 4th, 5th formal programme and ceremonial plantation and trekking to Dzukou Valley and return on 6th June 2012. All together 84 persons from diferent district of Nagaland participated in plantation as well as trekking. Among others, Shri. Sidramapa MC IFS, Hemant Kamdi, IFS, Shri. Velatso ACF, Shri. Khrielievi Chusi President Angami Youth Organisation, Shri. Voto Neikha President Angami Stutudents' Union and Shri. Seyievile Peter, President Southern Angami Youth Organisation were participated
